AuPark

Shopping & kindergarten

Shopping facilities and childcare can be found in the neighbourhood: a Coop shop and a kindergarten will move into the AuPark.

Cantonal school Zimmerberg
The new Zimmerberg cantonal school for 1,200 pupils is to be realised here by 2031. Construction is scheduled to start in 2028.
The building construction office is organising an open project competition until July 2024. The assessment and publication will follow by November 2024.

SUSTAINABILITY

We build according to all aspects of sustainability and thus contribute to a more sustainable society. The AuPark will be built in accordance with the SNBS Gold (Swiss Sustainable Building Standard) construction standard. SNBS is the first Swiss standard that covers all aspects of sustainability and combines the needs of the environment, society and the economy.

The entire area will be designed and maintained in a way aligned with nature, with the majority of the many trees and plants being native. The orchard, the promenade and the park all provide valuable habitats for the resident flora and fauna.

MOBILITY

At home in the countryside and yet well connected: within a few minutes’ walk you can reach the Au train station and the new bus stop located directly at the AuPark. Due to its convenient location, the AuPark is also easily accessible by private transport.

The outdoor spaces will be designed to be largely car-free in order to protect nature and increase the quality of life. In addition, we are continuously expanding the cycle paths and walking paths and are planning 653 bicycle parking spaces.

The car-sharing offer is also an attractive and practical alternative to owning a private car.

In order to support the future of mobility, the entire area is geared towards electromobility. We offer parking spaces in the underground car park, which can be equipped with your own charging stations for your electric vehicle on request.
